Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy Review

Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy was one of the first games available for Jaguar. It's a horizontally-scrolling shooter that proves good graphics do not make a good game. The graphics are beautiful, among the best for the Jaguar. The only thing missing is multiple-scrolling backgrounds, as the game looks very flat as-is. The sound is poor at best. Some games don't need background music, but this is not one of them. Music is necessary in this type of game, in my opinion, and Trevor McFur doesn't deliver. The sound effects are weak too. The control is decent, but reaching for the keypad for special weapons can be cumbersome. Trevor McFur is one of the worst Jaguar games out there.
