Breakout 2000 is the updated version of the classic hit Breakout. This version offers power-ups and two-player capability, which greatly improve this classic game. The object is to move your paddle to hit the ball into the blocks. It's a simple concept, but it's fun to play. The graphics are average; some of the backgrounds are nice, but there is very little animation. The sounds are also average, with simple sound effects and unspectacular music. The control isn't quite perfect, but it does the job. Breakout 2000 doesn't show off the power of the Jaguar, but it is a good fun game, especially in two-player mode.
