Rayman is Ubi Soft's action/platform game for the Jaguar. It features typical hop-and-bop action, although it's a bit more challenging than a typical Mario-type game. You not only have to get through all of the levels, you also have to find all of the "electoons" before you can advance to the final level. The graphics are beautiful, and the game almost looks like a Disney cartoon. It is probably the most colorful game on the Jaguar. Unfortunately, the sound is a different story altogether. The music is cheery, but it's also repetitive and annoying. The sound effects are just as bad. The control is good, although Rayman moves pretty slow. However, he does learn to run later in the game. Overall, Rayman is a good, fun game that any Jaguar owner should own.
