Supercross 3D Review

Supercross 3D is a one-player dirt bike racing game. You participate in a tournament across fourteen U.S. cities. Each track has its own layout with ramps of varying heights. The graphics may not look terrible in still shots, but the frame rate is low, especially when several bikes are on the screen at once. The low frame rate also makes it difficult to control your bike. The controls feel awkward at first, but you will get used to them somewhat. However, there are still times when the controls are unresponsive. You will press right on the joypad to turn right but the bike keeps going straight and you crash into the wall. And don't try to cut any corners. Even though you're just riding over dirt, going just an inch off the track will cause you to crash. The music and sound effects are not very impressive, but you'll probably be so busy trying to control your bike that the lackluster music won't bother you much.

The low frame rate, poor controls, and lack of a two-player option make Supercross 3D a poor racing game. It's not as bad as Checkered Flag, but there are better racing games out there.
