Tempest 2000 is the updated version of the classic game Tempest. This 2000 version features power-ups, jumps, and bonus levels not found in the original. Tempest 2000 is widely regarded as the best game on the Jaguar, and rightfully so. The graphics are simplistic, yet they are colorful and look good. The sound is incredible--it's easily the best music I've heard from any Jaguar game. The control is good overall, although sometimes your ship will move over one corridor farther than you intended. Tempest doesn't make a great two-player game, but you'll be too busy playing the 2000 mode to care. Tempest 2000 is a very fun, addicting game.
